Kevin Jonas will soon be starring in his own reality TV show, along with his wife, Danielle Deleasa. And it won't just be any old reality TV show. 'Married to Jonas' will be produced by Ryan Seacrest, host of American Idol and the man with the Midas touch when it comes to TV.
In a statement, Seacrest said "Our production team became curious about what life would be like for a young bride entering the excitement, and sometimes chaos, of a pop star's life, looking through the lens of young love, the show will examine the ups and downs of Dani and Kevin's marriage, against the backdrop of their contrasting family cultures, traditions and individual careers." Kevin, 24, is the eldest of the Jonas Brothers and met Deleasa whilst he was on holiday with his younger brothers Joe, 22 and Nick, 19, in the Bahamas, along with his parents. Two years after meeting, they married, in 2009.
The show is scheduled to debut on August 19, 2012 on the E! Network. No doubt it will bring welcome attention to the Jonas Brothers, who have not released an album since 2009's Lines, Vines and Trying Times. The band began as a project for Nick Jonas. Kevin and Joe started singing back-up for him and the band eventually evolved into a band. Kevin - also known as K2 - is the only one of the brothers to have married, though Nick once dated Miley Cyrus and Joe had a relationship with Taylor Swift. The brothers are notorious for their 'purity rings' which they wear to symbolize their commitment to remaining chaste until they marry.
