Comedian Kevin Hart has been sued by nightclub bosses over allegations he dropped out of a hosting gig to attend a different event at a rival venue.

Lawyers for the Cameo Nightclub in Miami, Florida have filed suit against the funnyman claiming he agreed to oversee a party on 22 June (13), but dropped out at the last minute.

In the court papers, venue bosses allege Hart hosted a Miami Heat Championship party at the nearby Dream Nightclub on the same night.

The nightclub chiefs claim they lost around $4,680 (£3,120) on the event, and are seeking at least $15,000 (£10,000) to cover the cancellation and the alleged damage to their reputation, according to
