The Think Like a Man star was in the city to play three sold out shows at the TD Garden venue, and early on Sunday morning, he invited his followers on social media to join him for a jog prior to taking the stage for his final two shows later that night.

On Saturday night (06Jun15), he took to Twitter.com and wrote, "I'm going to run a spontaneous 5K in the morning... Who in Boston wants to come run with me???? This is a impromptu decision people!!!! Get up early & come RUN with me damn it... this type of s**t can be game changing!!!! 8:45am Be there or be square".

Hart arrived at the Chestnut Hill Reservoir to see hundreds of fans in exercise gear and awaiting his arrival, and he led the runners in a quick stretch, before launching into the run.

He later took to Instagram.com to thank everyone for coming out, writing, "Hooooolllllyyyyy S**ttt (sic)... Boston this morning's spontaneous 5K run was amazing!!!! We had nearly 300 people who came out early on a Sunday morning & got it in!!!!

"I love challenging myself... Today I challenged you guys and you responded by joining me!!!! Thank you all... I want to make people better... I'm challenging you all to be great in all aspects of your life!!!! Health/Career/Education/Family... Whatever it is that you are doing be great at it damn it!!!!! "
