Singer Kevin Drew delighted fans at his New York City concert on Monday (28Apr14) by performing live with veteran rocker Andy Kim for the first time.

The Broken Social Scene frontman, 37, recently teamed up with Sugar, Sugar hitmaker Kim to produce the Sixties star's forthcoming album, It's Emotional, and the Canadian musicians decided to give gig-goers at the Bowery Ballroom a sneak peek at one of their new collaborations by hitting the stage together towards the end of Drew's headlining set.

The project will be Kim's first studio release in four years, the follow-up to his comeback album Happen Again.

Kim served as Drew's support act for the Big Apple gig, which had to be rescheduled earlier this month (Apr14) due to Drew's visa issues.
