'The Following' star's 21-year-old daughter, Sosie, with his wife Kyra Sedgwick, has been named Miss Golden Globe 2014 and will assist hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey on stage during the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 12.
Asked if he had any tips for his daughter, the 55-year-old award-winning actor told People.com: ''Don't trip! Just practice walking in the heels. But, I know she will do a great job.''
Kevin, who celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with Kyra in September, admitted he is extremely proud of Sosie, who previously had a small role in her mum's police drama series, 'The Closer'.
He said: ''I'm very, very proud of my little girl. I'm proud of her 365 days a year, and Kyra and I will be even more proud of her on that night.''
The annual Mr or Miss Golden Globe is usually the child of a celebrity and last year's Miss Golden Globe was legendary actor-and-director Clint Eastwood's daughter, Francesca Eastwood.
