Kesha claims guys are "scared" of her because she intimidates them.

The 'We R Who We R' singer thinks her outspoken views and flamboyant personality can make some men nervous and stop them from asking her out, but she won't change for anybody.

She said: "It's important to show that women can be so much more than sex objects - you'll never see me just sitting there looking pretty.

"Maybe some guys are put off from approaching me because I intimidate them, but, if so, good. Guys should be scared of me.

"I realise I polarise opinions, but you can either join my party or f**k off, because I'm not going anywhere."

The 24-year-old pop star - who was romantically linked to dance music artist Calvin Harris when she was on tour with Rihanna in Australia in March - is very proud of her success, especially because she wasn't confident when she was at high school.

She told the News of the World newspaper: "I was the gawky kid at school. It's empowering for me and all the girls who aren't beauty queens or cheerleaders to see someone succeed by being strong and opinionated."
