Kesha MOST SCROBBLED ARTIST OF 2010
In the year that KESHA launched her music career, she became the most scrobbled artist on Last.fm in 2010 with over 15 million plays. The singer broke onto the music scene with her album 'Animal' back in January and has seen chart success with singles including, 'Blah Blah Blah' and 'Tik Tok', she also featured on Flo Rida's hit 'Right Round'
Other acts in the global top 10 include Mumford And Sons, Arcade Fire, The National, Katy Perry, Rihanna, 30 Seconds to Mars, GORILLAZ And Eminem who is the only performer to make an appearance in the chart for two years running.
All the albums in the list were released between 1st October 2009 and 1st November 2010. Last.fm monitor users listening habits through software installed on the user's computer, they record over 43 billion tracks a year listened to by over 40 million users.
In the last.fm UK chart, MUMFORD AND SONS sit atop the chart followed by Biffy Clyro.
