Kenny Loggins and Blake Shelton will team up at the Cma Awards in Nashville, Tennessee next week (09Nov11) to perform their movie theme Footloose.
Shelton re-recorded Loggins' catchy tune for the 2011 remake of the 1984 pop hit and the rock star was impressed that the country singer didn't really change his original.
He recently told Access Hollywood, "They (producers) tried 10 different versions of the song and they kept re-cutting it because they wanted to capture that spirit of the original - and Blake came the closest."
Shelton, who is nominated in five categories at the Cmas, will perform the song as a duet with Loggins.
