Country music is back on top of the US album charts thanks to Kenny Chesney and Leann Rimes.

Both acts have crashed into the Billboard chart top three with new albums; Chesney has scored his third successive chart-topper with BE AS YOU ARE: SONGS FROM AN OLD BLUE CHAIR.

Rimes' THIS WOMAN, a new entry at number three, is the singer's highest debut since 1997.

Meanwhile, cult group Bright Eyes claimed their highest chart entry on the new list - I'M WIDE AWAKE, IT'S MORNING debuts at number 10. And late crooner Nat King Cole has posthumously scored his biggest hit for 40 years with the release of THE WORLD OF NAT KING COLE, which debuts at 41.
