Actor Kelsey Grammer has announced plans to star in a new sketch show, just a week after the end of his hit sitcom Frasier.

Grammer, who played neurotic psychiatrist FRASIER CRANE in both Frasier and Cheers, will host and co-produce THE KELSEY GRAMMER SKETCH SHOW on American TV network Fox.

The show, which will debut this autumn (04), is based on a British programme from the ITV network.

Details of Grammer's sketch comedy remain under wraps, but bosses at Fox says the actor will serve as its host, with performances delivered primarily by an ensemble of players, much like improvisational comedy show WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?.
