Kelsey Grammer will get the chance to realise his political ambitions when he plays a presidential hopeful in Kevin Costner's new comedy movie.
The former Frasier star, who has often spoken about his dreams of running for office one day, will play a Republican politician fighting Democrat Dennis Hopper for the White House job in Swing Vote.
Costner will play a single dad whose vote will decide an election.
In an interview last year (06), Grammer revealed, "It's a notion I have about the future - to run for office, to do the world some good.
"As I get older, in maybe 15 years or so, there may be a run for office."
Stanley Tucci, Nathan Lane and Willie Nelson will also appear in the film, which Costner is also co-producing for film studio Disney.
