At the height of Williams' solo career, she could count on her Destiny's Child band mates to back her.
Destiny's Child. Stellar Awards. Guys. It happened. The former R&B trio didn't tease their reunion or reveal they were planning anything at all, they just made it happen on Saturday night. Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams took the stage together at Las Vegas' Orleans Arena to perform Williams' Say Yes. Beyoncé and Rowland previously collaborated on the studio version of Williams' single, an EDM-inspired reimagining of the Nigerian gospel song When Jesus Says Yes.
Michelle Williams won big last night - and she had some supportive friends there to back her.
The song was nominated for three Stellar awards, including Urban/Inspiration Single of the Year, Music Video of the Year and Song of the Year, with Williams picking up an extra nod in the Female Vocalist of the Year category for her gospel album Journey to Freedom.

Our condolences go to Kelly Rowland, who says a difficult farewell to 'an incredible soul'.
Kelly Rowland has only just welcomed her first child into the world, but it's nonetheless a sad time for the singer as she says farewell to her mother, Doris Rowland Garrison, who passed away aged 66 on Tuesday (December 2nd 2014).
Kelly Rowland only recently gave birth to son Titan Jewell
A grief-stricken Kelly Rowland spread the news of her mother's passing this week, which occurred just four days before Doris was due to celebrate her 67th birthday. It seems the singer will face a Christmas of mixed emotions; not being able to spend it with her mother, but still having the opportunity to introduce her 1 month old son Titan Jewell Weatherspoon to his first festivities.
Aunt Bey shared a very cute photo of her grasping the tiny hands of her former Destiny's Child band mate's newborn baby.
Kelly Rowland and her manager husband Tim Witherspoon welcomed a baby son, Titan Jewell Witherspoon, into the world on November 4th, and former Destiny's Child band mate Beyoncé has already met the little guy!

It makes absolute logical sense for any company to want to be affiliated with the biggest events in the world, which the football World Cup unarguably is. But what to do when your biggest rival is a corporate partner of said tournament? In this case, the answer is a compilation record.
Whilst a couple of months may already have elapsed since the World Cup ended, this does afford us the ability to review this album using a host of clichés and tournament-inspired analogies. Santigold's 'Kicking Down Doors' signals the start of play with a pounding dub beat on a track that fails to take off. The arrival of a collaboration between Rita Ora and Calvin Harris - 'I Will Never Let You Down' - is like Spain making an appearance, but the resulting club number is as disappointing as the showing from the former champions. The decision to allow Janelle Monae to give Bowie's 'Heroes' an urban makeover gets a red card, but Don Omar adds the correct sort of bite to proceedings with a carnival-enthused 'Pura Vida'.
The second half begins with a substitution to the likeable quirky pop of 'Crescendo' by Jetta, before Kelly Rowland takes centre stage. Unfortunately, 'The Game' is a tuneless effort that falls well beneath the high standard of the output she has previously been involved with and leaves us needing a hero as we enter the latter stages of play. It would be too much now for the result of the album to be saved, but like a late consolation, it doesn't mean you can't put positives into the outcome. It isn't forthcoming though, with the remainder playing out a drab affair lacking impact and passion. Likening this to the England team's performance seems too obvious, but given the lack of expectation in the first instance, is actually quite appropriate.

Williams' latest single is a spiritual summer anthem.
Are we all sufficiently in love with Destiny’s Child still? For those fans, who still live for the trio’s reunion, Michelle Williams just dropped the video to her latest, Jesus-praising song, Say Yes!
Michelle's new album, Journey to Freedom, is due out in September.
The video focuses on the feel-good tone and the message of unity, instead of the religious aspect of the song. It’s an endearing video, as Michelle, Beyonce and Kelly pop up in succession in their respective scenes, before the actual reunion takes place at what looks like a giant party towards the end.

Following the success of her fourth album 'Talk A Good Game' last year, Kelly has contributed to Pepsi's recently released World Cup inspired compilation album, 'Beats of the Beautiful Game', with her plainly titled new single 'The Game'.
Kelly Rowland seems to have confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child with manager and husband Tim Witherspoon.
Kelly Rowland has hinted on Instagram that she’s pregnant with her first child. The ex-Destiny’s Child singer posted a photo on June 10 of two pairs of Air Jordans. Not so unusual, huh? Well, it just so happens that one set of the sneakers were a teeny tiny pair designed with a little baby in mind! Next to the suspicious photo, Rowland put the caption: “I’ll be stuntin like my daddy…..” further fuelling rumours that the singer is having a baby with husband Tim Witherspoon.
Rowland and Witherspoon began dating in 2011 and were married in Costa Rica in May this year. Witherspoon had previously been Rowland’s manager. She announced their engagement on The Queen Latifah Show in December 2013, revealing: “He put a ring on it…it’s been a while. We’ve kept it very, very low - for years, to be completely honest.”

Rowland made the announcement via Instagram this past Tuesday.
Kelly Rowland is pregnant! Unlike other celebrity pregnancies, the news came straight from the source this time, with the singer posting a photo on her Instagram of a baby-sized pair of Air Jordans. Aw, isn’t that the cutest product placement you’ve ever heard of?
Congrats on the baby. And the general awesomeness.
It’s been a whirlwind year for Rowland and her longtime beau, Tim Witherspoon, who just tied the knot a month ago. The couple celebrated their love with an intimate ceremony in Costa Rica on May 9.
Kelly also recently released a new single, The Game, as part of Pepsi’s World Cup visual album. The album features Rowland, alongside the likes of Janelle Monae, Rita Ora and Idris Elba, of all people, and includes audio and visual contributions, centered around the theme of, y’know, the Game. Also collaboration and togetherness, etc.
The 33 year-old singer may have revealed that she is expecting her first child by sharing a photograph of a pair of adult sneakers next to an infant pair.
Has Kelly Rowland confirmed that she is going to be a mother?
The former Destiny's Child singer has been the centre of pregnancy speculation for quite some time now, and after sharing a recent photograph on Instragam, it looks like she is finally with child.
