The R&B star and Jeffery Rolle have been renting a mansion in Torrance for two years, but they were evicted last month (Dec15) after failing to pay almost $15,000 (£10,000) in back rent.
According to Bossip.com, landlord Arjang Panah filed suit against the pair in October (15) after skipping three months' worth of payments, but Price and Rolle did not respond, prompting a judge to issue a default judgement.
"It took me three months to get them out," Panah tells the publication. "They owe me three months' rent!"

The news of Whitney Houston's untimely death at the age of 48 has evidently shaken the music industry, as well as her millions of fans across the globe. And the feeling is an all too familiar one. Shock, of course, that such a great talent is no longer with us and will no longer have the chance to silence the critics who wrote her off as a hopeless addict many years ago. But also, a more complex emotion no doubt, from those who knew her well and those who would only ever know her through the picture painted by the media. An emotion that mixes guilt and sadness, because although the timing of her death came as a shock, the fact that it has happened at all is perhaps less shocking, given the years of substance abuse that she is reported to have suffered.
It's a familiar feeling to many because it was the same mix of emotions that people shared when Amy Winehouse passed away last year. Again - another great talent taken too young; but given the persistent abuse of drugs and alcohol, no surprise that her body finally gave in. Sunday night's Grammy awards paid tribute to her talent in a number of ways. The majority of stars on the red carpet had something to say in her memory. Lady GaGa opted for an understated entrance, avoiding the red carpet altogether, but dressed in black, with a veil, quite possibly a gesture of remembrance for Houston. Jennifer Hudson went on to perform a stark rendition of the song that Whitney made famous in the 1990s, 'I Will Always Love You.' Under normal circumstances, it would have been an impressive performance and Hudson was clearly feeling the emotional strain of the evening. But what her performance really reminded the viewers of was the extent of Whitney's vocal talent. She made that song sound effortless, every time she sang it. On Sunday night, it sounded like a serious task for Hudson.

Kelly Price, the last singer to duet with Whitney Houston, has spoken out about her magical evening with the superstar on Thursday (09Feb12) in a bid to silence rumours suggesting her friend was spiralling out of control in her final days.
Price performed gospel song Yes, Jesus Loves Me with Houston at a pre-Grammys party staged by musician/producer Kenny Lattimore at Tru Hollywood in Los Angeles and she admits the tragic star will always be a "church girl" to her.
The gospel singer is keen for music fans all over the world to remember Houston for her great talent, and not the circumstances surrounding her death on Saturday (11Feb12).
Reports suggest the singer may have drowned in the bathtub of her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Police have ruled out foul play but sources have told Tmz.com that pill bottles were found in Houston's hotel room. The singer had twice entered rehab for a drug abuse problem.

Gospel singer Kelly Price broke down on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (12Feb12) as she attempted to describe how her late friend Whitney Houston would want to be remembered at the event.
Price, who was the last singer to perform with the late superstar at a pre-Grammys party on Thursday (09Feb12), fought back tears during her live TV chat with E! presenter Ryan Seacrest and when he asked her how Whitney would have liked to have been remembered at music's big night, she had to stop the interview.
She said, "She would want it to be celebratory and to be about the music. She loved what she did..."
Price couldn't continue and whispered, "Sorry," as Seacrest ended the interview.

Beyonce Knowles' dream role in DREAMGIRLS would have gone to Fugees star Lauryn Hill - if moviemaker Joel Schumacher had his way.
The Batman Forever director was slated to take charge of the movie musical years before Bill Condon took over and cast Beyonce as his lead.
Schumacher reveals, "I was talking to LAURYN HILL about playing DEENA in it."
The outspoken director also had casting ideas for roles that have since earned Eddie Murphy and newcomer JENNIFER HUDSON Oscar nominations.
He adds, "I wanted Don Cheadle to play the JAMES EARLY part, and Kelly Price, with that fabulous voice, I would have had her for EFFIE... I was really excited about it."
But Schumacher's Dreamgirls project was axed when Why Do Fools Fall In Love? was released and flopped in 1998. On the back of the FRANKIE LYMON biopic, producers felt the time was wrong to release an R+B movie musical.
