Kelly Osbourne insists her split from Matthew Mosshart wasn't ''dramatic.''
The 'Fashion Police' co-host, who confirmed on Wednesday (08.01.14) that she had ended her engagement with the vegan chef, claims they mutually decided to call off their upcoming wedding as it simply ''wasn't the right time'' for them to be together.
Opening up about the split for the first time, the 29-year-old star told E! News: ''It was a mutual decision. We love each other very much, it just wasn't the right time for us, and I think that if we're weren't as mature and as adult as we are then we could have gone down a road that got not very nice.
''We're still really really good friends, we're just not living in the same house.''
She added: ''There is no dramatic story. I wish there was so there was something to tell people, but no, it just happens in life.''
The star, who is currently writing a book and preparing to launch her own fashion line, said: ''It's been so much fun not just being known as Sharon and Ozzy's daughter, like, I'm me now and it's amazing.
''That's all I've ever wanted to do in my life is work hard enough so that I have enough money so my parents never have to work again.''
Kelly battled a drug problem when she was younger and admitted: ''Ten years ago I was 19 years old. I don't even think I'd be alive today, I'd be lying if I said anything else.''
