Kelly Clarkson decided it was time for the world to be introduced to her recently born baby daughter.

On Friday (June 20th), the former 'American Idol' star shared an adorable photograph of River Rose Blackstock via Twitter.

The cute snap shows the newborn sleeping soundly in a red carriage while wearing a headband.

"Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose," Clarkson wrote. "6lbs 6oz, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet."

The 33 year-old singer gave birth on June 12th, and took to social media to share the exciting news with her fans.

"Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes!" she posted (June 14th). "Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!"

This is Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock's first child together, but she is already a step-mother to her beau's two children from a previous relationship.

Clarkson announced her pregnancy news back in November (2013).

"I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited!" she tweeted on November 19th. "Best early Christmas present ever :)"

Then only two months later the 'Stronger' singer took to Twitter once again to inform her 9.7 million followers the gender of the baby.

"We just found out we're having a girl officially!" she posted on Monday (Jan 20th). "I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"

Although Clarkson remained low-key throughout most of her pregnancy, while appearing on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' last December she revealed her struggles with adjusting to morning sickness.

"I vomit a dozen times a day. It's like bad. I vomited before coming out here," she admitted. "It's so bad. It's, like, so gross. You're not attractive when you're pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty. That's total crap."

Congratulations to the happy couple.
