Kelly Clarkson freaked out after misplacing her engagement ring at the 2013 CMA Music Festival on Saturday (08.06.13).
The 31-year-old singer, who is set to marry music manager Brandon Blackstock on October 20, repeatedly apologised to her fiance on stage at the event in Nashville, Tennessee, after suddenly noticing that she wasn't wearing her custom-made canary yellow diamond ring while performing her first song 'Stronger.'
According to CMT.com, the former 'American Idol' winner blamed the disappearance of her ring on nerves and told the 60,000 fans at the event: ''This is my first official set at a country ... thing. I've been nervous all day because I wanted to be good for you!''
She expressed her relief on Twitter on Sunday (09.06.13) after finding the sparkler, writing: ''For all of the concerned fans I FOUND MY RINGS!!! Seriously, panicked in my head all night long .....so did Brandon haha!''
Kelly, who got engaged in December, recently admitted that she was ''overwhelmed'' by her wedding plans because she was struggling to keep their guest-list under control.
She explained: ''We're just kind of overwhelmed with the planning of the wedding. We're actually thinking fall this year and we're thinking outside. We're trying to make it small, but it is hard. I literally had a breakdown two weeks ago about the wedding list.
''I'm terrified of everyone watching me walk down the aisle.''
