Kelly Brook is surprised by how quickly her romance with her fiancé David McIntosh has progressed and can't wait to walk down the aisle with him.
Kelly Brook is in ''shock'' about her speedy engagement.
The 34-year-old model has fallen head-over-heels for former 'Gladiators' star David McIntosh - otherwise known as Tornado - and was surprised by how strong her feelings were for the hunk when he popped the question after a whirlwind 12-week romance.
She gushed to Britain's HELLO! magazine: ''Was it a shock when he got down on one knee? Just a bit! I think it took both of us by surprise, to be honest, how quickly things have progressed.
''But I've never met a guy like David before and although it seems soon to be planning our wedding, there's nothing to wait for in my mind because at the moment everything's fantastic and there's no reason why it can't continue to be like that. I hadn't been looking to fall in love.''
As for David, 28, he had never pictured himself tying the knot with anyone until he met Kelly when he was invited to her New Year's Eve bash via some mutual friends and was blown away by her ''amazing positivity''.
He enthused: ''Within days, I was thinking, 'This is someone I could marry', which is crazy because I had never, ever, wanted to get married before. I had the view that it was outdated and unnecessary. But meeting Kelly has changed that.''
The lovebirds are planning to get hitched in Italy at a romantic venue Kelly stumbled across during her travels.
She teased: ''When I first set eyes on this place, I said, 'This is where I'm going to get married.' It is just stunning.''
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
