Kelly Brook wants her new ''timeless and sexy'' perfume Audition to give women confidence to be the ''best'' they can be.
Kelly Brook wanted to represent herself with her new ''timeless and sexy'' fragrance.
The model-and-actress launched her latest scent Audition today (17.03.14) and wants the perfume to give its wearers the ''confidence'' to be the ''best they can be''.
She said: ''I wanted something timeless and sexy... I hoped it would represent me.
''We had a brainstorming session and with my job as an actress it made me think of nerve-racking auditions, and with things like 'The X Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent', I think people realise that auditions can make or break careers.
''It's all about making an impression and being the best you can be. With girls getting ready to go out, it's all about spraying the perfume and getting that last bit of confidence.''
Though Kelly fronts the advertising campaign for the fragrance, she would have loved a ''strong powerful'' woman like Victoria Beckham or Jennifer Lopez to be the face of the perfume.
She told MailOnline: ''I like strong powerful women like Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez.
''Sophisticated, sexy and strong businesswomen who have their thing going on but they still now how to have fun and be glamorous.''
The 34-year-old beauty went back to her teenage years for inspiration for the fragrance.
She explained: ''When I was growing up as a teenager I would always go to The Body Shop and buy White Musk, that was my key fragrance. Anything musky just reminds me of being a teenager and I wanted to put that into my fragrance.
''It was really nice to evoke all those memories from my teenage years, but bring them up to date and make them a lot more sophisticated and current.''
