Kellan Lutz appears at a press junket interview to talk about his leading role in epic action flick 'The Legend Of Hercules'. He talks about superheroes, going to Bulgaria to shoot and preparing for this challenging part.
'He's my favourite superhero', Kellan insists. 'He is, to me and I think a multitude of people, the first superhero.' He adds that he believes that the Ancient Greek character is where many modern comic characters derive from. There was a lot of work in learning how to act like a superhero though, with the movie featuring various stunts from horse riding to sword-fighting. 'Once I got to set I pushed myself to learn and look like an expert on a horse, learn and look like an expert while wielding a sword, and that's why it was great having Liam McIntyre there; he is Spartacus!' He explains. As for filming in Bulgaria, Kellan reveals how he 'fell in love with it' after discovering how 'giving and selfless' the locals were as well as how inexpensive and tasty the food was. 'I did 'Expendables 3' there as well. I had my same hotel room, my same friends who I knew - it's my second home', he says.
