Kellan Lutz has appealed for fans to help protect the Florida Everglades and its wildlife after spending yesterday (09.07.12) there doing a photo shoot with crocodiles and alligators.

The 'Twilight Saga' actor got up close to a number of reptiles on a magazine photo shoot in the Florida Everglades and was overwhelmed by the huge creatures.
Alongside a series of pictures of himself with the reptiles, he tweeted: ''With an American alligator - 4 foot individual about a teenager - it's nesting season now for these guys!
''Such beautiful animals! True dinosaurs.
''Standing in the middle of the Everglades! Such a special place. (sic)''
Kellan has appealed to his followers to help protect the subtropical wetland region and its wildlife.

The 27-year-old actor's love of animals stretches beyond reptiles as he also revealed to his twitter followers that he is so devoted to his pet dog, he lets the pooch sleep in his bed.
Asked by a fan, ''Do you let your dogs sleep on your bed? If so, do they hog the bed?'', he replied: ''Kola takes up the whole bed âª#spoiledâ¬ (sic)''
