British actress Keira Knightley has paid tribute to her team of make-up artists - for disguising her acne scars. The Atonement star admits she is not as porcelain skinned as she appears on-screen and needs lots of make-up to hide her spots. She says, "My film career has boosted my self-esteem. I'm self-conscious and I've always tried to dress down. I don't even like wearing make-up but I have to because of my acne. "I've been saved many times at film premieres by wonderful make-up artists who make my skin look much better than what it is. "That's all part of the make-believe world of cinema."
