Keira Knightley, the British actress and star of new movie 'Last Night', had her London flat burgled while she attended the premiere of the film in Italy, reports the UK's Sun newspaper. The thieves reportedly entered the property through a faulty communal door, and managed to get away with laptop computers which detectives fear could have held sensitive information.
A source close to the 25-year-old said Knightley was considered whether or not to move back into the flat, saying, "Keira is mortified to think anyone has been rummaging around her personal stuff. She feels violated and doesn't know if she wants to return to the flat". It is thought that police are now waiting for Knightley to return to Britain in order to attain the full list of stolen items. An official police spokesperson confirmed: "Officers from Westminster CID are investigating a residential burglary at the flat. It is believed to have occurred between 9am and 9pm on October 26. A forensic team from Westminster CID was dispatched to dust for any fingerprints or shoe marks left behind".
Knightley's new movie 'Last Night' also stars Sam Worthington and Eva Mendes.
