Keane frontman RICHARD HUGHES is furious with Britain's Conservative Party leaders after learning they're using one of his songs as a political anthem - without his permission.
Party leader David Cameron has been using the band's Everybody's Changing hit to rally supporters on the campaign trail in the run-up to the U.K. government elections on 6 May (10).
And Hughes, who supports the current Labour Party Government under Prime Minister Gordon Brown's leadership, is far from happy his song is being used by the opposition.
In an angry Twitter.com rant, he writes, "Told the Tories (Conservatives) played keane at their manifesto launch (sic). Am horrified. To be clear - we were not asked. I will not vote for them."
But the Conservatives are defiant. A representative for the party says, "It's a great song and David's a great fan."
