Katy Perry touched down in London recently, a big enough city you'd have thought for her to avoid ex-husband Russell Brand. However in what might as well have been fate, her party scrambled after hearing a rumor that the British comedian was headed to the same London night spot.
A source told the UK's newspaper The Metro that Perry and her pals were enjoying some karaoke at Mahiki in London's Mayfair, explaining "She wanted to spend the night singing in the room as it's where her best mate Rihanna normally comes to play when she is in town." All went wrong however when, apparently, "Katy was having a great night but bolted out the door when one of her sidekicks stunned her by telling her Russ was about to turn up. Rather than risk an awkward run-in, Katy didn't take any chances and ordered everyone to move on to a club in Chelsea instead," the source continued.
