Moschino's creative director turned out for a special night in Los Angeles on Tuesday (08Sep15), taking part in a joint handprint ceremony with Perry outside the famous TCL Chinese Theatre before attending a screening of his film Jeremy Scott: The People's Designer.

However, the evening was reportedly marred with drama as a process server handed out paperwork stemming from a lawsuit over the Moschino outfit Scott dressed Perry in for the Met Gala in New York earlier this year (15).

A representative for the designer tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "His attorneys agreed to accept service on his behalf... We look forward to defending these allegations, many of which are outrageous, in court."

A graffiti artist named Rime filed suit against Scott last month (Aug15), claiming the designer copied the motif for his Moschino autumn 2015 collection from a wall mural he created in Detroit, Michigan in 2012.

Perry wore one of the designs to the high-profile fashion event in May (15).
