Greco, 45, appeared on 'Loose Women' this week, but looked distinctly uncomfortable as Price questioned him about his love life.
The 45 year old British actor, who has resided in Los Angeles until recently when he returned to Britain, is well-remembered for playing Beppe di Marco for four years between 1998 and 2002 on the BBC soap opera. He made an appearance on the ITV magazine show 'Loose Women' on Thursday (July 7th) and discussed his return.
However, he was left looking a little lost for words when mum-of-five Katie pressed him about his single status, despite being the former heartthrob well-renowned for sleeping around when he was younger.
Katie Price made 'Loose Women' guest Michael Greco squirm this week
“I just haven't met anybody,” Greco shrugged, but Price persisted. “Oh come on! At your age you must have someone. You've been with lots of ladies, are you that fussy?” she asked.
“I was promiscuous in the past Katie… In my twenties.” Fellow panellist Janet Street-Porter then jumped in, and asked him whether he took the same approach to sex as he does with dieting (referring to an earlier part of the conversation when he said he fasts for 16 hours a day to maintain his figure).
“Yeah 16 years on and 10 years off, it's exactly that. I'm halfway through my 16 years now…” he joked.
Michael Greco in Los Angeles in 2012
After he quit ‘EastEnders’ 14 years ago, Greco admits that he “lost his way” for a long time, at one point attempting to forge a new career as a professional poker player.
“I've been away and it’s so strange to be back. When I left I kind of lost my way. And I just left acting to became a professional poker player,” he opened up.
Having not succeeded in making his career in America, where he went alongside his former ‘EastEnders’ co-star Patsy Palmer, Greco is now starring in a new theatrical production ‘Exposure: The Musical’.
