If The Lights Go Out
Katie Melua releases her new single ‘If The Lights Go Out’ on February 25th 2008. Katie explains: ‘If The Lights Go Out’ is a song about living for the moment and also swearing to the person that you love that you want to spend every day of your life with them, including the last moments.”
Released in October the album ‘Pictures’ knocked Bruce Springsteen off the top spot of Billboard’s pan-European chart in November achieving various number one and top five positions around the world along the way. Katie concluded 2007 with the release of ‘What A Wonderful World’, a duet with the late Eva Cassidy, as a fundraiser for the British Red Cross and which topped the British charts.
On May 4th Katie will be performing a standalone concert at the Royal Albert Hall and in October, as part of her world tour, Katie will return to Britain for her largest UK arena tour to date.
