I usually listen only to western classical singing, but when I overheard Katie's Melua's voice on some ad (I think) on tv, I just had to find out who the singer was. I read that her music appeals to older people and that it's "uncool". If so, it must be because older people are more discerning. Her voice is so accurate and beautiful and the lyrics of her songs are original and poignant - not qualities I would assign to anyone else. Well, "uncool" is the new "cool" as far as I'm concerned.

Dear Katie, I'm in love with your voice and the way you perform, you're one of the greatest singers..I can listen to your songs all day long, I'm sure they are evergreen
