Katie Holmes says she feels "so lucky" to be playing Jackie Kennedy, the wife of US President John F Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963. After filming scenes with co-star Greg Kinnear, Holmes told US Weekly, "It's been really fun! Her clothes were magnificent. I feel so lucky. We have these wonderful seamstresses who are creating beautiful dresses that are obviously replicas of real things she wore. Armani made two dresses for me to wear." After wearing a variety of outfits on the shoot for the mini-series, Holmes said of the former First Lady, "She not only had great style, but she was an artist and a writer. She was an illustrator. She was an editor. Her great style was both appropriate for every event that she went to and also classic, and also things that were wearable. I feel really lucky to be playing her."
As well as tackling the role of Kennedy, Holmes is reportedly set to join the cast of Adam Sandler'S new comedy movie, 'Jack and Jill'. The star of 'Batman Begins' and wife of Hollywood actor Tom Cruise looks set to feature alongside Sandler and Al Pacino in the film, which is set for release in 2011.
