Katie Holmes stopped by the set of her husband Tom Cruise's new movie 'One Shot' in Pittsburgh this week. The 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' actress surprised the Hollywood star by arriving with 5-year-old daughter Suri in tow, reports OK Magazine.
The couple's daughter was so excited to see Tom she excitedly ran over and hugged him, leaving Katie struggling to keep up. The family took a tour of the set, with Holmes sporting a striped tank top with jeans and Suri opting for a pink shirt with white skirt. Just last week, mother and daughter were spotted grabbing ice cream in the city and later checking out a local museum. Tom plays Jack Reacher' in 'One Shot' - a homicide investigator working on a case involving a trained military sniper who shot five random victims. The thriller, based on a book in Lee Child's acclaimed crime series, also features former Bond girl Rosamund Pike and Robert Duvall. Meanwhile, Katie is preparing to begin work on Alex Schemmer's romantic comedy 'Responsible Adults', about a man who realises his latest crush was actually his babysitter 15 years ago.
Holmes' horror movie 'Don't be Afraid of the Dark, written by Guillermo Del Toro, hits cinemas in the UK from Friday (7th October 2011).
