Actress Katie Holmes has reportedly signed up to appear in big screen comedy THE EXTRA MAN.
The Dawson's Creek star recently completed an acclaimed stint in Broadway play All My Sons and has been linked to another stage role in the upcoming theatre production of Finding Neverland.
But Holmes may be poised to return to feature films - with a role alongside Paul Dano, John C. Reilly and Kevin Kline in the movie based on a Jonathan Ames novel, about a failed playwright who decides to work as an escort for wealthy widows.
Filming is scheduled to start in New York in February (09).
