Actress Kathleen Turner has slammed plans to remake her film WAR OF THE ROSES with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas - insisting the venture would be "silly".

Zeta-Jones is reportedly keen to resurrect the 1989 film, in which Turner and MICHAEL DOUGLAS played a warring couple - but the 52-year-old feels their partnership is best left off screen.

Turner says, ''Well, I think Catherine and Michael are very good together, but as for doing a remake... I think that would be silly. It wouldn't be as good as the one with me in it.''
