Katherine Heigl's forthcoming comedy movie 'One for the Money' has been postponed for a second time.
Katherine Heigl's much delayed film 'One for the Money' will not be released as expected on 3rd June 2011 because of box office competition, reports Entertainment Weekly. The film is based on the popular Janet Evanovich series about a bail bondswoman named 'Stephanie Plum'. Film company Lionsgate initially moved the release date from July 8th to June 3rd to avoid competition with highly-anticipated releases such as 'The Zookeeper' and 'Horrible Bosses' and now the studio fears that 'X-Men: First Class' will be too strong to hold off at the box-office. A representative for the company said, "We just want to find the right home for the film, and that date didn't feel like it". Heigl's last comedy movie, 'Killers' starring Ashton Kutcher, had a budget of $75 million but only pulled in $47 million at the box-office.
Katherine Heigl recently returned home to Los Angeles after spending several weeks in New York filming the upcoming romantic comedy 'New Year's Eve', with Robert De Niro. The actress stepped in to replace Halle Berry, who left the project to concentrate on her child custody battle with ex-boyfriend GABRIEL AUBRY.
