A trove of items from late actress Katharine Hepburn's estate have been donated to the ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURE ARTS AND SCIENCES' MARGARET HERRICK LIBRARY.

The collection, which includes thousands of photographs and six decades worth of letters, scrapbooks and screenplays, is considered to be one of the library's most comprehensive.

It details the OSCAR-winning star's personal relationships with a number of famous people, including Tennessee Williams, Cary Grant and Spencer Tracy.
