Kate Winslet is set to publish a book titled 'The Golden Hat'.Kate Winslet, the British actress and star of the forthcoming HBO mini-series 'Mildred Pierce', is set to release a book featuring a collection of self-portraits of celebrities wearing a 'magical hat', reports Usa Today.The book, which is being published by Simon & Schuster, is in aid of autism awareness and is planned to hit shelves in November 2011. The actress has reportedly amassed a huge collection of photographs featuring celebrities and cultural luminaries wearing the special hat, amongst them Anna Wintour, Ben Stiller and Demi Moore. Other stars who have agreed to appear in the book include Naomi Watts, Ricky Gervais, Jude Law and Marion Cottillard. Alongside the images, the personalities were asked to write down what their first words would be, should they suddenly be able to communicate following years of silence.
Kate Winslet's book is inspired by the documentary 'A Mother's Courage: Talking Back to Autism', which she narrated last year. The film followed the story of Keli Ericsdottir, who suffers from non-verbal autism, and his battle to communicate.
