Kate Winslet may have named her son something fairly unorthodox, but there's no way he'll take on the surname of hubby Ned Rocknroll.

Kate WinsletKate Winslet Gave Birth in December

The Revolutionary Road actress gave birth to her third child (and second son) on December 7th 2013 and raised a few eyebrows after revealing that she named him Bear. It's only traditional to use unusual baby names if you're a major Hollywood star, but Kate has insisted that she wouldn't go as far as to give Bear his father's surname.

"We haven't ever really had that conversation; it was always going to have my name," she told Glamour Magazine. 2Mia and Joe have it as part of their name, so it would be weird if this baby didn't."

Ned Rocknroll, the nephew of Richard Branson, changed his last name from Abel Smith by deed poll in 2008 and, although she married him in 2012, Kate doesn't seem to have embraced her beau's whimsical last name herself.

"Of course we're not going to call it Rocknroll," Kate added. "People might judge all they like, but I'm a f**king grown-up." We only wish that the same could be said for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who made the world collectively cringe when they revealed their first-born would be called North. and have his father's surname.
