Actress Kate Winslet has hit back at suggestions her children suffer because their parents live in different parts of the world.
The Titanic star has children with both her ex-husbands, Jim Threapleton and Sam Mendes, and she co-parents Mia Threapleton, 13, and Joe Mendes, nine, with their respective fathers.
But the Oscar-winning actress, who is currently expecting her third child with husband number three Ned Rocknroll, has rubbished suggestions her children are flown around the globe to be with their parents, insisting they are always with her.
She tells Usmagazine.com, "People go, 'Oh, my God! Those poor children! They must have gone through so much.' Says who?... They've always been with me. They don't go from piller to post; they're not flown here and there with nannies. That's never happened. My kids don't go back and forth; none of this 50/50 time with the mums and dads - my children live with me; that is it. That is it!"
