British supermodel Kate Moss will be the focus of an upcoming art auction featuring an impressive collection of works starring the catwalk queen.
Curated by collector Gert Elfering, the sale will feature a mixture of photographs, paintings, sculptures and even a tapestry showing off Moss' many faces at the Christie's auction in London later this year (13).
Among the lots is a snap of the supermodel encased in bronze by sculptor Allen Jones, as well as Mario Sorrenti's famous shot of Moss nude on a couch, which is valued at between $45,000 and $75,000 (£29,032 - £48,387).
Elfering says, "Kate is the ultimate modern muse and we will be seeing her images in major museums and private collections for years to come. She has altered perceptions for women across the globe, encouraging them towards greater individuality and expressive freedom. There is so much you can learn from Kate - how you should always remain true to yourself, develop your own style, and emphasise your individuality."
The sale will take place on 25 September (13) but the collection, which is expected to fetch around $1.5 million (£967,741), will be available for public viewing from 21 - 24 September (13).
