Many women will be dying to find out how Hollywood actress Kate Hudson manages to maintain such a fit and toned physique, unfortunately there is no secret strategy or any easy shortcuts. The 35 year-old actress recently revealed it is all done to hard work.

While attending her mother Goldie Hawn's charity event Love In For Kids on Nov. 21, Hudson admitted to Us Weekly that she achieves her desirable body figure by working her "ass off," and staying disciplined.

"You (have to) work your a-- off, that's the only way. (And) you have to eat right," she told the magazine. "Everybody wants some sort of secret and there just isn't, it's just you have to work out."

Hudson also explained she thinks the key to staying in such great shape is maintaining consistent workouts.

"I wouldn't say [I work out] a lot, just consistently.People think for some reason you have to work out for two and a half hours.but, it can be little. It can be 20 minutes, it could be 40 minutes, but you have to [get it in]," she said.

The 'I Wish I Was Here' actress stressed there is not time for excuses. "You can't do like two weeks and go like do two days and then take a week off and then do three days and then go, 'Why aren't I [seeing results?] I don't get it.' You know, you just got to do it - sad, like anything else in life!"

In an interview with Shape magazine from November 2013, Hudson also revealed she cleanses her whole body several times a year. "I've eaten in all sorts of different ways over the years. I like to do juice cleanses twice a year for five to seven days, or food elimination cleanses where I just eat super clean," she said. "Other than that, I eat everything. I just love food. I love bread. I love pasta."
