Kate Hudson is convinced the media's portrayal of her friend Matthew Mcconaughey is not accurate, insisting the actor's wild antics won't affect his ability to be a great father. The Sahara star is set to become a first-time dad after announcing earlier this month (Jan08) that his Brazilian girlfriend, Camilla Alves, is 12 weeks pregnant. And Hudson thinks the press paint a misguiding picture of her Fool's Gold co-star and she is keen to stress he is a settled family man - not an eccentric party animal. She tells People.com, "I think he will be an incredible dad. I think because people see Matthew always out doing something whether (it's) out dancing in a bar or being on the beach or taking a hike with some crazy bandana on, I think that, like anything, they take their image and what they want somebody else to be and then they just run with that. "Matthew happens to be one of the most loving and loyal people I know and his family is important to him. He's great with kids and I think he'll be a very responsible and absolute blast of a dad."
