KATE PLUS 8 returned to screens last night for its much anticipated third series. The comeback episode saw the family visit Australia, where they went sightseeing in Sydney and watched the New Year's Eve fireworks, reports Access Hollywood.
Kate Gosselin had come in for criticism for her behaviour on a recent episode of 'Sarah Palin's Alaska', but she appeared far more adventurous down under, at one point telling the camera, "I had a little redeeming to do. I'm in the mode of challenging myself". The 36-year-old even volunteered herself for a shark cage dive, but she appeared uncomfortable and nervous, screaming that she "doesn't like water". Gosselin later admitted that she performed the dive for her children's benefit, saying, "I think it was great for the kids to see my positive attitude". Kate's former husband Jon Gosselin was notably absent from the new episode and during a recent interview the realty star admitted that she may be ready to date again, saying, "It's just strange. After this many years, to just be back out there in the world? If somebody arises, that'd be great. If not, it is what it is".
The new season of 'Kate Plus 8' will continue next Monday (11th March 2011) on the TLC network.
