Kate Gosselin has revealed that she worries about being lonely. She revealed her fears in a recent interview on Dr. Drew's Lifechangers, explaining that after her divorce from her husband Jon, she fears that men would be put off by her eight children "I am lonely, she told the audience. "I clean up the house, put kids to bed and there I sit. Ideally I would find that person, but I don't know if I feel ready for that." She went on to explain "The odds are against me, one mom and eight kids. I think a lot of my friends who are being constructive say, 'Gosh, who are you going to meet that is going to be able to deal with eight kids?' My answer is always, if they can deal with eight kids in our situation, it probably will be the person. It will sort of prove it."

Kate Gosselin celebrated her birthday by partying in New York last week.Kate Gosselin, the American reality television star and mother of eight children, partied in New York last week and is reportedly keen to get back on the dating scene, reports the UK's Daily Mail. The 36-year-old, who divorced from husband Jon Gosselin back in 2009, celebrated her birthday with friends in Manhattan. One onlooker said that the reality star was "all dolled up in a black cocktail dress, brought a camera crew and was chatting up a lot of guys. It wasn't clear if they were actors or not". There has been recent speculation that Gosselin will front a new dating game-show, but the 'Kate Plus 8' star is reportedly keen to get back on the dating scene herself. After the birthday celebrations in New York, Kate was pictured back in her native Wernersville visiting the dentist with four of her children. She was joined by sextuplets Hannah, Aaden, Colin and Lean for the routine trip and the entire group "seemed in good spirits" despite the gloomy Pennsylvania weather.
Kate Gosselin returns to screens in 'Kate Plus 8' on 4th April 2011. The highly anticipated new series is set to air on TLC.
Sarah Palin, the 46-year-old Republican politician and former Governor of Alaska, will not be making a second season of her reality show 'Sarah Palin's Alaska', reports the UK's Daily Mail. The series producer MARK BURNETT confirmed this week that there are no plans to make any further episodes.
The reality show, which has courted much controversy in recent months, brought its first season to a close last night (9th January 2011) and earlier indications had suggested that the reason for the cancellation was down to Palin's intent to run for President in 2012. However, new reports suggest that the axing could be attributed to dwindling audience figures. The reality series opened on the TLC network to five million viewers, however, this number soon dropped to 3.2 million by episode two. Throughout the series, viewers tuned in to watch the vice-presidential candidate camping with television personality Kate Gosselin and shooting and killing caribou, something that was highly criticised in certain sections of the press.
After West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin had accused Palin of hunting wild animal for political gain, the 46-year-old hit back on her Facebook page, saying, "Unless you've never worn leather shoes, sat upon a leather couch or eaten a piece of meat, save your condemnation of tonight's episode. I remain proudly intolerant of anti-hunting hypocrisy".
Kate Gosselin, the reality television star who recently embarked on an unsuccessful camping trip with potential presidential candidate Sarah Palin, says she has political ambitions of her own, according to Popeater.com. Gosselin appeared on the latest episode of 'Sarah Palin's Alaska', and despite not seeing eye-to-eye with the former Governor of Alaska, the 35-year-old says she would like to run for office some-day.
Gosselin, who is the mother of eight children, refused to spend the night camping with the Palins after complaining about the cold temperature and her 'freezing toes', but an insider claims that the reality star firmly believes she could match Palin in the world of politics, saying, "After meeting and spending time with Sarah, Kate realized that if she could run for office then so could Kate. Sarah does have a little bit more experience than Kate does in office but what they have in common is huge. They are both famous reality stars that you either love or hate. They both are beautiful and have a way of getting everyone's attention".
However, another source close to Gosselin admits that her political aspirations are a product of her inflated ego, saying, "Honestly, Kate is unbelievable. Her ego is out of control at this point. Ever since Dancing With the Stars and the fact that she appeared on more consecutive covers of US Weekly than any celebrity ever, she thinks that she has what it takes to run for office".
