Reclusive singer Kate Bush has disappointed fans by ruling out plans to tour in the near future.
This month (May11) saw the release of Director's Cut - a compilation featuring re-recordings of her previous songs - and Bush is now writing material for a new album.
The news fuelled rumours the Wuthering Heights hitmaker is planning to head out on the road again, after she recently revealed she wants to play live before she gets "too ancient".
However, Bush - who last toured in 1979 - is adamant concerts are not on the horizon, telling British radio station Bbc 6 Music, "People always presume I didn't enjoy that (last) tour. I did enjoy it. (But) I haven't got any plans to do any live shows whatsoever. I'm very much engrossed in trying to make new material. I'm extremely flattered that people are interested."
