A female security guard at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida is in critical condition after she was trampled by a mob of fans who stormed the venue without tickets.
Contemporary Services Corporation guard Erica MACk, 28, was admitted to Jackson Memorial Hospital on Friday night (28Mar14) after party crashers toppled a gate at the perimeter of the Bayfront Park gig to gain access to the electronic music bash, which featured sets by Tiesto, Kaskade, Mgmt and M.I.A., among others.
The victim suffered severe brain haemorrhaging and a broken leg, and is currently in a critical but stable condition.

Take a break from skiing to catch some spectacular sounds from South Lake Tahoe's SnowGlobe Music Festival.
This summer may have been a great season for festivals everywhere, but SnowGlobe Music Festival 2013 proves that you don't need warm weather to have a sensational musical experience.

An electronic music festival featuring star Djs Tiesto and Kaskade was marred by the death of a young fan on Sunday (30Jun13).
The 21-year-old man was hospitalised after allegedly overdosing on drugs at the sold-out Paradiso Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington.
The victim's name has not been released, but an autopsy was scheduled for Monday (01Jul13) to determine his official cause of death.

Dance Dj/producer Kaskade has stepped into the recording booth for the first time to showcase his vocals on his forthcoming album.
The Edm star, who has previously recruited artists like Neon Trees and Skylar Grey to perform on his tracks, admits his singing voice is far from "perfect", but he felt it was necessary to pick up the microphone to convey his own feelings on the album's title song, Atmosphere.
He tells MTV News, "This is the first time I've ever sung on one of my songs. I've written dozens, if not hundreds, of songs over the years... (but) I've never sung on any of my songs.

The turntable superstar was trying to get back onstage after crowd surfing when a helpful fan accidentally left him in agony.
Kaskade, real name Ryan Raddon, tells Spinner.com, "Things got a little out of control and, sadly for me, on my last jump, as I was hauling myself back on the stage, someone grabbed me to help me up and pulled my shoulder out of its socket.
"Lucky for me, one of my backstage crew knew what to do and popped it right back in. Adrenaline carried me through the last 20 minutes with Aoki, but I knew I was in pain. Some heavy painkillers sorted me out for my show, there was no way I was going to miss playing for San Francisco... The show must go on. It was worth the discomfort."
