Kasabian's Tom Meighan thinks he'd write great Christmas Carols and in the style of 'White Christmas' hitmaker Bing Crosby.
Although Kasabian's songs are all penned by Serge Pizzorno, Tom has been writing himself, and hopes to one day record and release some of his solo tracks.
He told NME magazine: "I've got quite a few songs of my own now. I don't want to make too big a deal of it, but it would be nice to put something out between Kasabian records when I get the chance."
Tom has previously said Serge changed his song writing with the band's last album, 'Velociraptor!', and he found singing some of the songs an "emotional" experience.
He said: "It's like the old songs were fun to sing but the new ones are a bit more ... I remember singing ' Goodbye Kiss' in the studio and I got really, really emotional. As the song went on, I remember getting a bit shaky and just closing my eyes by the second verse. It was weird."
