Designer Karl Lagerfeld struggled to make a documentary about his own life - because he hates watching footage of himself. The fashion guru-turned-photographer spent two years working with French director RODOLPHE MARCONI on new movie LAGERFELD CONFIDENTIAL, but hated every moment where he had to watch himself onscreen. Speaking at the Berlin Film Festival in Germany, where the new film premiered on Saturday (10FEB07), the longtime Chanel designer said, "I didn't have anything to do with the editing... and I don't really know anything about it (the film)."
