Karl Lagerfeld is to launch a one-off beauty line.
While specific details on the range have not yet been revealed, president of Karl Lagerfeld Pier Paolo Righi told WWD the products will reflect the designer's ''iconic, ironic style''.
Karl - who has used Shu Uemura cosmetics to hand-colour his fashion sketches for over two decades - is in charge of the collection's colour selection and packaging and has already photographed an accompanying campaign.
Meanwhile, Karl has been immortalised in wax his native Germany's oldest waxwork museum, Panoptikum Hamburg.
The model took almost a year to create and features an uncanny resemblance to the eccentric designer, featuring his white hair tied in a neat ponytail, his trademark dark glasses, fingerless gloves and slim tailoring.
The waxwork - which was created by a team of sculptors - was officially unveiled last week.
