Kanye West's claim that Zappos tries to sell a "sh*t product" has provoked a hysterical response from the online retail company.
Kanye West performed one of his famous rants on Monday (18th) with writer Bret Easton Ellis for Ellis' podcast.
The pair chatted over several topics in the interview but West became most passionate when they began to discuss one of the 36 year-olds greatest loves, fashion.
The rapper had some choice words for Tony Hsieh, the CEO of online retailer Zappos.
The 'Yeezus' hit maker met Mr Hsieh during a recent visit to Las Vegas and Kanye used this platform to recall what occurred;
"I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he's trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this s--t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling s--t product,"
West stated. Well those "sh*t products' are selling at a rapid pace so maybe it is wise for Kanye to listen to the CEO's advice. Vappos heard this criticism and chose to respond in a hilarious way.
Hsieh also wanted to voice his opinion and tweeted, "Kanye West @kanyewest says @zappos sells 'sh-t product', It's true"
He linked a new page that the online retailer launched called Gear Sh-t Product, it consists of a toilet and a plunger for $100,000, the reviews of the product are excellent, with 5 stars in every category.
The description Zappos penned for the product read, "Interested in buying sh-t product? You've come to the right place!" the text reads. "Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell sh-t products to everybody! This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you're #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris."
Does this mean Kanye will now start a new feud with a clothes retailer? That will be a first.
