Kanye West won't be debuting his latest collection at Paris Fashion Week, despite his DW by Kanye West line showing there for the past two season.
Kanye West won't show his new collection at Paris Fashion Week.
The rapper's DW by Kanye West line has appeared on the catwalk for the past two seasons but he has decided against debuting new garments at next week's French shows, a spokesperson for his label has confirmed.
It is not known whether Kanye's decision not to show means the label has been discontinued or put on hold.
However, the 'Stronger' rapper could well be turning his attentions to other fashion ventures as it was recently claimed he and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are hoping to create their own shoe line with LVMH boss Francois-Henri Pinault.
The glamorous couple - who already have separate clothing and endorsement deals - have been spotted dining with Francois, the billionaire husband of Salma Hayek and want to etch out a way they can work together with him.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ''Kim and Kanye had lunch with Francois the other day at the yacht club because they're trying to negotiate a shoe deal with him.
''Francois' company owns Louis Vuitton, which Kim and Kanye are obviously both big fans of. Nothing is set in stone yet, but they're really excited about the potential footwear line.''
Among the brands owned by LVMH are Guerlain, Fendi, Kenzo, Tag Heur and Veuve Clicquot.
