Yeezy even addressed the time he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 VMAs, taking back the apology he gave after the furore.
"I don’t have one regret. If anyone’s reading this waiting for some type of full-on, flat apology for anything, they should just stop reading right now," the rapper told the press, before going on to discuss his material and his relationship with Kim. He mentioned how he enjoys the public nature of their relationship, despite seeming to despise the attention when he is hounded by the paparazzi.
“Any woman that you’re in love with or that loves you is going to command a certain amount of, you know, energy,” he said. “It’s actually easier to focus, in some ways…I’m the type of rock star that likes to have a girlfriend, you know? I’m the type of soul that likes to be in love and likes to be able to focus. And that inspires me.”
He did go on to discuss backing out of Kim's reality series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, explaining that he chose to no longer appear on the show because he had become fed up of the "backlash" he was facing from his appearances on the show. He went on to add that, with the impending birth of his and Kim's daughter, that he would do “anything” to protect his child and its mother.
